Soy candles are beautiful to behold and fill your home with
amazing scents while creating a peaceful and calming environment. Soy candles also add a sense of warmth and
comfort when you’re feeling low and some are energizing and inspiring. There are
hundreds of candle fragrances on the market today and there are many that will set
the right mood for you or change the aura of your environment. It’s fun trying
out new scents and I’m sure there are scents you love and will cherish forever.
Always keep safety in mind when burning your candles.
While candles are amazing, they can also be a fire hazard if
you are not careful when burning them. We at So Happy Soy Candles want you to always
remember to keep safety in mind while burning your candles. Keep several
pointers in mind before burning your candle and during the candle burning
process so you and your family can always enjoy their amazing scents and feeling
it gives your home.
- Always keep burning candles in view and never leave a candle burning when you leave your home.
- Never burn your candle while you are sleepy, there is always the possibility that you may fall asleep which could be hazardous.
- Never use your candle as a night light.
- Do not burn your candle any longer than the manufacturer’s recommendation.
- Burn your candle on a flat, safe surface.
- Keep burning candles away from drafts.
- Keep your candle wick trimmed to ¼”. An untrimmed wick will produce soot and will cause your flame to be too high.
- Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.
- Stop burning your candle when there is only ½” of wax at bottom of candle.
- It is best to use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame instead of blowing out the flame.
- Never move a candle while the wax is still hot and liquid.
So always know that you can safely enjoy your candles when
you burn them in a responsible and careful way.
